Haley Gates, M.D.

  Dr. Haley Gates is board certified in Family Medicine. She is a native of Carrollton, AL and is a 2009 graduate from Pickens Academy. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Judson College in 2012, a Master of Public Health from UAB in 2014, and her MD from UAB in 2018. She completed her residency training at UAB-Huntsville Family Medicine program in 2021, serving as Chief Resident for the 2020-2021 academic year. Dr. Gates moved to Guntersville, AL after marrying Dr. Clark Alves. She enjoys the broad scope and continuity of care found in both the outpatient and inpatient settings of family medicine. 

Morgan Jackson, M.D.

​ Dr. Jackson is a native of Guntersville, Alabama. She is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Jackson completed undergraduate studies at Auburn University, earned her MD from UAB, and then completed residency in Huntsville. She enjoys preventative care and chronic disease management. Dr. Jackson has two children and resides in Guntersville with her husband Jarrod. 

Joshua D. Bell, M.D.

Dr. Bell is a native of Rainsville, Alabama. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Bell completed his undergraduate studies and MD at the University of Alabama. He then completed his residency at the University of Alabama. While at the University of Alabama Dr. Bell was a member of the famous "Million Dollar Band". Dr. Bell is also certified by the National Laser Institute for Botox & Dermal filler rejuvenation injections.

Embril "Wade" Edwards, M.D.

​ Dr. Edwards is a native of Guntersville, Alabama. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Edwards completed undergraduate studies at The University of Alabama, earned his MD from UAB, and then completed residency in Huntsville. He also has an MBA from the University of Alabama. Dr. Edwards resides in Guntersville with his wife Hilliary and son. 

Joel C. Milligan, M.D.

Dr. Milligan grew up in Arkansas and now resides in Guntersville, Alabama. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Milligan completed his undergraduate studies at Arkansas State University, earned his MD from the University of Arkansas, and then completed his residency in Huntsville. Dr. Milligan practiced medicine in Arkansas until he joined Lakeside Clinic in May of 2010. He and his wife, Pam, have three children.

William Alex Nixon, M.D.

​ Dr. Nixon is a native of Huntsville, Alabama, and now resides in Guntersville, Alabama. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Nixon completed undergraduate studies at Mississippi State University, earned his MD from UAB, and then completed residency at Huntsville. He also served as Chief Resident during his residency. Dr. Nixon is currently on staff at Marshall Wound Care Center and the Principal Investigator for Lakeview Clinical Research. He has three sons, Aiden, Issac, and Hudson.

Jeffrey M. Saylor, M.D.     

 Dr. Saylor is a native of Arab, Alabama, and now resides in Guntersville, Alabama with his wife Tabitha. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Saylor completed undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama and obtained his Masters in Public Health from UAB, all before earning his MD from UAB. He then completed residency in Huntsville and served as Chief Resident. Dr. Saylor currently serves as the Medical Director for Marshall Manor, Southern Care Hospice, and Lakeshore Senior Living Facility. 

John W. Boggess, IV M.D.

     Dr. Boggess is a native of Guntersville, Alabama. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Boggess completed undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama, earned his MD from UAB, and then completed his residency in Huntsville, Alabama. He also obtained his Masters in Business Administration in 2001. He and his wife, Katherine, have one daughter.
